Welcome to the Lake of Bays United Churches website. We are a community of four beautiful churches in Dorset, Dwight, Hillside, and Seabreeze, with a rich history and a tradition of support, community outreach, and dedication to the spiritual life of our church family.

We are pleased to offer three fundraising programs that help us to continue our important work in the community.

The First Program is the Lake of Bays Pastoral Charge Fund, which provides support for our churches and their outreach programs.

• If you wish to send an e-transfer offering or donation to Lake of Bays Pastoral Charge, the email address is lobunitedchurches@gmail.com

  In the subject line, please identify to which of the Churches you wish to donate, Pioneer in Hillside, Stewart in Dwight or Knox in Dorset. If you have a specific donation such as the “Pioneer Furnace Fund”, indicate on your cheque or e-transfer memo line.

• For a cheque, please make it out to Lake of Bays Pastoral Charge and mail it to:

  LOB United Churches, P.O. Box 196, Dwight, ON P0A 1H0

• Join PAR (preauthorized remittance) so that money is withdrawn monthly. Contact our bookkeeper at lobunitedchurches@gmail.com

• You can make a Memorial Tribute or a Donation to the Lake of Bays Pastoral Charge or to one of our Churches through Canada Helps, and you will receive an instant tax receipt for any donation made.

The Second Program is the Fundscrip Campaign, which allows us to raise money for the church by simply spending as we do every week for our everyday needs. You receive 100% of the card’s value, and our churches receive a small percentage for your support. The invitation code to get into the program is 7AG2BG, and we are ready to provide you with all the help you need to get started. Click on the Fundscrip logo below to begin.

The Third Program is the Knox Revitalization Project, which aims to enhance and increase the capacity of Knox United Church for community programs, preserve its heritage and church presence, and provide green and sustainable improvements to the building. Your donation to this project will make a difference in our community and help ensure that Knox remains a vibrant part of the Dorset community. Click on the Canada Helps logo below for the link.
