Lillian Robus
LILLIAN EDITH ROBUS (nee EVANS) Lillian passed away very peacefully surrounded by a cushion of love on July 1, 2015, at the age of 88. A devoted wife, loving mom, proud grandmother, special sister, caring aunt and good friend. Cherished and deeply loved forever by her husband of 66 years, Wally and by her two daughters, Diane (Doug Quick) and Carolyn (Bill Smith). Always in the hearts of her adored grandchildren, Alex and Andrew Quick; Tanner, Fraser and Emma Smith. She will be met with open arms by her two sons, Stephen (predeceased 1953) and James (predeceased 1980). Lillian was a devoted member of Northlea United Church and served on many committees. She was passionate about the cottage at Lake of Bays where she spent many happy holidays canoeing, walking and relaxing on the dock since 1965. She was an avid swimmer, bridge player and delighted in her volunteer work at Toronto Botanical Gardens.
