Covenanting Service, Sept. 19, 2021 for Rev. Nina Fulford
On Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Dorset Pavilion, we had a special covenanting service for Rev. Nina Fulford and the Lake of Bays Pastoral Charge. A Covenanting Service in the United Church of Canada formally celebrates the new relationship between a minister and the congregation by making promises to one another. We promised to support Rev. Nina in her ministry and to join her in worship, study, prayer and action. Rev. Kathleen Taylor, our liaison from Shining Waters Region was present and Pastor Doreen Mason, from Evergreen Pastoral Charge offered a reflection about the many talents and the wealth of experience that Nina brings to our church.
